Hey guys! First of all, we hope you guys had a fantastic holiday, ‘cos we sure did. It was – at least for us – been a manageable end to 2016 [or henceforth known as the year the Mayans thought was 2012]. You don’t have to look far to understand why 2016 was jaga jaga. For God sakes, we lost Prince. Prince man. The guy who made us fall in love with the colour purple. The guy who you couldn’t separate his fashion sense from his ideological mindset. He epitomized what expressing oneself through fashion was, and 2016 took him away. But it is alright. Not really. "I’m not crying, it’s the harmattan wind that’s blowing dust into my eyes. Huhu". But we really hope everyone is enjoyed the holidays though. It’s was a crazy year whatever way you look at it, and it is only right we try to make the most of one of the happiest times.
Without taking much of your time, we just want to quickly tell you guys that we at tWIF also plan to put behind the miseries of 2016 and move on. It’s like a breakup, and it’s a bit sad, but what’s life without breakups? In preparation for the new year, new things and sturvs like that, we are releasing new collections that we’ve been working on for a while now. Staying away for a while hasn’t been because a lack of ideas, instead it’s been a detailed exercise in trying to look at ways of bringing a near perfect sense of satisfaction to our customers in 2017. It should be the way it fits and that’s how we plan to keep it. This blog will also be regularly updated with news about all of our moves, so you should all watch out for that.
